Hi! My name is Tara Mertz & I am the owner & creator of Sugar & Ezz. I’ve always had a bit of a candle obsession so exploring candle making as a hobby just seemed natural. I soon found it to be much more than a simple hobby, but a science, and for me, a form of therapy. I spent a year perfecting my formula before branching out & gifting my candles to family & friends who graciously gave me all the feedback I needed to officially launch & establish Sugar & Ezz in Spring of 2022. I’m a single mother of 4 & this little candle business has helped me survive & work through the hardest part of my life. Every sale directly supports my family & means more than I can convey.
